While I appreciate his candor, I'm still not sold on his fiscal conservatism (even though he claims to be a proponent of the fair tax) nor his willingness to stop illegal immigration. Also he's a little to Gomer Pyle-ish for me. If you know what I mean.
I'll agree with that. I'd like to see a Thompson/Hunter ticket, but I know I'm living in a fantasy land. But you're right, anyone on the GOP side would be better than the two alternatives.

I'll take him if Fred doesn't make the ticket. Actually I will take any of the GOP guys over the top two democrats this time around.
